Position defended by ERPA :

• Basic criteria of AW must be applied for all animals productions
• Measure criteria of AW must be scientific and adapted also to slow growing breeds
• Indication of the type of rearing + quality national or EU schemes are enough for information
• Against a specific AW EU labelling and logo
• The EC must give information on rural poultry production as a positive alternative for AW
